So, before anyone asks (because I get it quite a lot :P) my first name is pronounced dʒem (like gem). It's Turkish, so yes, C is pronounced that way in the Turkish alphabet haha.
I'm a Turkish-Australian independent author who has started screenwriting and am currently working on a horror comedy webseries. I recently submitted a 30 second pitch video of my webseries idea to the Melbourne Webfest as part of their Pitch iview competition (https://www.melbournewebfest.com/pitch-iview-2018/) and was shortlisted to pitch it live at the event and potentially win $5000 for a trip to Marseille WebFest and attend a screenwriting residency there.
I basically work a full-time day job and write on my lunch breaks and in the evenings, whether it be my novels and now the webseries and have a few other ideas on the backburner.
