Not so weird but a grocery store.
There are two places where I put my ideas to use - Screenplays and Technology-related products (Like apps). The weirdest place I've gotten inspiration for an app is an animal shelter (kill/no kill/terminally ill). As for screenplays, it's a smart home.

Oh "Where"...I thought you meant what are the strangest locations that have inspired you (to write about them). Not so weird then...Maybe the subway.
