Which networks (studios) are currently most receptive to politically edgy fictional television?

I'm finalizing my satirical horror pilot set in D.C. and would love feedback on where you think producers would be comfortable with politically edgy material. My genre is hybrid horror, drama, and comedy, but there will be very currently edgy content, such as a Nazi character. I think, for that reason, it might be considered even edgier than "House of Cards" (HBO) or "The Handmaid's Tale" (Hulu), which (correct me if I'm wrong!) do not have characters traceable to current politicians or political aides. (Some of my characters are not subtle, shall we say!) I love Netflix, but I also don't want to do an immediately bingeable season: I would like to do a weekly series where I will be able to tweak various episodes to reflect recent events. Any insights/suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.

The basic answer to your question is - none.

Alright, Doug, I can see I have my work cut out for me!

Harley McKabe

Aside from satirical comedy, I doubt a single one.

Ardua, I would suggest you try and shoot it yourself, at least a conecpt, then post it to YouTube, Facebook, steemit, etc and see if it gains an audience. If it does, you can then leverage that to go to cable, OR, you may gather enough of a following where you won’t have to and you can be a presence on digital and build an audience there. Let me know if you have anymore questions! You can DM me here or email at: rynoryder@hotmail.com I wish you all the best!
