Introduce Yourself : New to 32 by Karina Alcantar

Hi everyone, my name is Karina I am an aspiring filmmaker. I'm attending a community college and I've taken movie production classes pretty much all it has to offer. I've written, directed and edited my first short film which is on YouTube called Desolation :) I'm pretty proud of it. I only used 2 cameras for it. Got a pretty cool spot to shoot at. All I know is that I want to be a filmmaker and I want to tell these stories that will set me on the path to success and being known for my films. I want to breathe creativity back into the Industry, I want everyone to know that original ideas are still here. Hopefully one day It'll help me be at the Oscars :) that's my dream. What I have so far are short film scripts, but soon I want to start making a full feature. You see I don't have anyone to help in how to produce and get it funded and all this awesomeness that comes with being in the industry. I want to know it all, everything there is to being a filmmaker :) please and thank you. I would love to also work on set and gain some experience from that :) we all gotta start somewhere.
