Introduce Yourself : Rick Meyer by Rick Meyer

Hi, I have been a stage 32 member for quite a while. This past Friday morning we wrapped principal photography on a short entitled Impossible to Ignore. It would not have been possible to make this film without DP/Editor Brian Johnson whom I found through stage 32. The film stars Erika Chase and Joan Reilly, and while I found neither of them directly through stage 32, other people I met on stage 32 . Led me to them.This is the third short that we have made together. The first one, Conundrum recently received awards of merit for nearly everyone involved from Southern Shorts. I could not possibly have made these films without their invaluable help. Next up is one of Brian’s films. Last summer I helped out doing sound on one of Brian’s films, Relentless Mr. Jenkins, which has won several awards and will be screening at the Austin film Festival this fall.
