Hello I'm Tammy Reese, a Central New York award winning actress and writer. 2018 40 Under 40 Award recipient, Co Author of 100 Women 100 stories book "She Wouldn't Let Me Fall" Also the Founder, Co Producer and Co CEO of Visionary Minds, which is a Publicity and Entertainment Media Production Company. As Co Host and Co Producer of Visionary Minds TV and Youtube series I was privileged to interview industry professionals such as Siobhan Fallon Hogan "Wayward Pines", "Forrest Gump", Giancarlo Esposito

" Breaking Bad" , "Revolution", Ron Van Clief Actor and Martial Art great who trained Taimak of "The Last Dragon", Aleks Paunovic ("Van Helsing" , "War For The Planet Of Apes", and Will Phelps (Producer of "Holly Slept Over" starring Nathalie Emmanuel .

Graduating from Empire State College in 2008, I majored in media studies, including journalism, TV, film, blogging ,and radio production while minoring in theater and culture.

My career started at age 12 with The Media Unit TV and Stage production company traveling and performing over 60 live stage shows a year, as well as Technical Directing or Hosting a public access TV program, “Rough Times Live.” In Tammy's 10 years with the company, my talents excelled as an Actress, Choreographer, Dancer, Writer, TV Host and Director. Hosting and Directing a live TV show made me ready for anything such as serving as Co Chair on The Media Unit Board of Directors.

Since those days with the Media Unit, I've branched into an independent artist. Performing (Ensemble, Les Style, Stepp Sister) in “Dreamgirls” musical at The Redhouse Arts Center in 2015. The production received a Syracuse Area Live Theater nomination for Best Musical and Best Ensemble. Other appearances at The Redhouse includes “The Color Purple” (Ensemble) and “Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens,” ( Sally).

Theatrical performance was my first love in the industry. As she got older, she embraced video and film production, writing and producing PSAs on suicide prevention "Hear My Call" , receiving a writing award and a domestic violence PSA "Live To Tell".

My passion is acting, but I know being a “Jill of all trades” will help get opportunities and enhance skills. Currently I've dived in full speed with my Business partner Michelle DiBernardo as Co Producers of Visionary Minds TV and Youtube series. 5 tv episodes showcasing inspirational community leaders, business owners and artists locally and nationally. Visionary Minds TV program aired on Spectrum Cable through CJack Run Networks in Central NY. Michelle and I are also actresses in upcoming films "Deja Vu" produced by Mad Angel Films Matt Peters, "12 Days With God" directed by John Ginty and "DammitMan" upcoming series starring Freddie Robinson ("Love and Hip Hop"). Us ladies recently have taken screen writing classes with Hollywood Director Jeremy Garelick and Hosted 4x Grammy Winner Kal Dawson's Music Artist Workshop. My latest endeavor was being a guest speaker at the CNY ADA Celebration which was Hosted by Hall Of Fame Journalist Jackie Robinson and being a Alumni Host for The Media Unit's "Rough Times Live" tv show where I interviewed Police Chief Frank Fowler.
