Hi, I'm Maliek. I'm an "aspiring" screenwriter & actor. I have no experience what so ever, I've barely finished anything, mainly because I'm SO hard on myself. I've been writing as a hobby since freshman year of high school, & last year I decided to make it my potential career. I'm not very up there when it comes to funds, so I'm still relatively new, and my stuff is still amateur. I planned on going to school for film and production next year & see where it goes. I kind of made this to meet people, & make connections! I have a "co-writer" who I collab with on every single one of OUR projects. She's not on here... yet. But, we share the same vision & dream. She operates out of Canada, we make it work. I don't have any doubts that if I managed to make one of my ideas come to life that it would be amazing, given me & my partners care & craft. It's just about getting there, & improving my skill set. :)

Do you have any screenplays that you have finished?
No, the farthest I've gotten was about 55 pages? I've lost so many, what I would consider "homeruns" just by how much progress I was making avoiding writer's block. But, my computer is... well it's not necessarily the best, so I've been saving to get a new & better one. All the ones I currently have saved are a year or more old, I've been holding back on adding to many of them since I will no longer have access to them when I get a new laptop. I've been jotting down notes & synopsis' on my iPhone & communicating back & forth with my partner on our ideas so we know where to begin when we get into the meat of them. :)
Trust me, I do plan one having my first one finished by spring. :)

Hi Maliek! I've been working on screenplays as well as directing them since 2013, I picked up a producer for my latest film. Keep it up! Good fortune comes to those who don't give up. :)
