STAGE 32 FOLKS RULE the recent Northeast Film Festival

Here's some more STAGE 32 SUCCESS STORIES: My short film, Time's Up, made its World Premiere to a packed screening this past Saturday at the beautifully restored Teaneck Cinemas at the Northeast Film Festival and we wound up winning Audience Choice Award for short films, as well as Best Actor in a Short for our lead, Gregg Prosser. My protégé, Taylor Salotti, another Stage 32 member, was a producer on Time's Up and part of the winning team, as well as getting Nominated for Best Unproduced Screenplay for her feature, The Thinning. Stage 32 consultant, Rob Margolies, screened his feature, Weight, starring Zachery Byrd, Ashley Johnson, Jason Mewes and Randy Quaid to a similar packed house Saturday night and wound up winning Audience Choice Award for features, as well as Best Picture. A GREAT NIGHT for Stage 32ers! The picture you see is the Time's Up winning team, consisting of lead actor Gregg Prosser, lead producer Sam Borowski (me ), producer Taylor Salotti, writer-director Jonathan Harris, first assistant director David Harris. GOD BLESS and STAY FRESH! <3

Congrats Sam. Can you share your film with us?

Sam Borowski

Thanks Doug! Currently, we're on the Festival Circuit - this was actually our World Premiere - and we will eventually make the film available on Amazon and DVD / BLU-RAY. I unfortunately, can't put it on YouTube or here for free, as we have investors. I might be able to send you a link that you can view privately. Do you still view for Film Festivals? Weren't you a screener for the Bend Film Festival in Oregon? One of these days, I would love to play in that Fest. Haven't gotten around to that neck of the woods yet, although I've screened all across the country. Let me see if I can get you a password protected link. Also, for other Stage 32ers, if you put your film on the net before you qualify for the Oscars (and I don't know if we're going for that with this film), you disqualify yourself from the competition.

Doug Nelson

Sam, yes I've been a screener/judge for numerous film festivals throughout Oregon and all the NW. Bend is a very fine festival that few folks in other parks of the country know nothing about. Yeah, if you're OSCAR fishing - be careful about sharing until after the season.

You always impress Sam!

WOW!! Congrats on everything.

Congratulations Sam.

Thanks ALL! GOD BLESS and STAY FRESH! <3

Congrats! Sorry I missed it and meeting you. I had some family emergencies to attend to. My film JOE (that I wrote, produced, and act in) screened at Northeast too and was nominated for a few awards. I also played a small role in Weight. I love this local festival.
