If you head to Genero, you’ll find a UK travel company is looking for a NY city local to make a short film about what you love/stuff to do in the city (read the brief for details). They pay well considering it’s quite an easy one to make (if you are in NY!) - not sure how easy is to win it but give it a try! I would if I could ;)

Genero is a platform where businesses look for filmmakers around the work to make social media/commercials for them. You need to sign in an agreed to all bits and pieces, then you can see the briefs they post...they usually ask for a proposal first and then hire the best one...give it a shot, you never know! Money looks good...good luck! :)

Not sure what you mean Willem. It’s a platform that puts people in contact. Facebook, LinkedIn and even Stage32 do the same? Correct me if I’m wrong of course...

Haha no worries Patricia! I think Willem has the right to raise his doubts if he knows something that we should be aware of, I never heard anything bad about Genero and I think it’s a great opportunity to make some money doing what we love, that’s why I posted it. Again, not sure what you mean Willem. Companies who look for filmmakers are legit (sure Ebay and Hilton don’t let anyone not legit use their logo) and if you get the assignment you work with them, not Genero. I guess Genero gets a commission from the company, as Ebay does if you sell through them, so you as applicant lose nothing. If you know something about it we should be aware of, please let us know. If you “feel” it’s a hoax but don’t even know what I’m talking about, you always have the option to read, scroll down and move on. Thanks :)
