Introduce Yourself : Director gone scoring by Eirik B. Jensen

Hi to you all.

I am an educated film director with a former degree in philosophy.

Spending some year working on the production side of things, mainly as Location Manager and writing a TV show on the side, I discovered my true talent (AKA the craving, and ability for working long hours on something) lies in, and always have lied in composing.

Three years ago I sold my house, rented a small apartment and invested in the necessary production equipment for producing orchestral music with samples. I discovered there was much to learn about not only orchestration and extended composing, but also on the pure production side - to make as available demos as possible.

I have now stopped feeling insecure about these things, and am ready to collaborate on productions in film and TV, but also arranging for orchestra or smaller ensembles.

Combining my education in drama and my abilities in composing I hope to contribute to interesting projects all over the world.
