My sci-fi/film noir screenplay The Invader has been nominated for "Best Screenplay" at the Kapow Intergalactic Film Festival in Los Angeles which is going on this week. This screenplay recently placed at Shriekfest Horror Festival and won the Mindfield Film Festival last month.

Pamela: I'm not attending to an ongoing illness. However, I recently attended Fort Worth Indie Film Festival and Austin Short Comedy Film Festival, which were both very enjoyable. I connected with a couple of other filmmakers and really enjoyed watching the creative movies I would normally not get to view outside the festival circuit. It's also nice to get recognition from these festivals and consider attending part of learning the process of making films.
