Which is awesome because I'm a rather isolated writer with five feature length scripts that I believe have great potential, but so-o-o-o-o need the advice of more experienced writers. I just know I'm making a thousand and one rookie mistakes, I can almost smell them, but damned if i know what they are.
To that end, I would invite anyone with an awesome brain, and an understanding of the more academic elements of screenwriting I may be missing to give these loglines a look-see - and better yet - if you see one that interest you, BY ALL MEANS doiwnload the PDF, read, disseminate, print it out and use it for toilet paper if you're running low and you don't feel like going to the store. Anything, just PLEASE give me some feedback, guidance etc. We're living in a world where Donald Trump has nuclear weapons, we may not have much time to get some good movies made. Yeah,I get how the peer review thing - while it may be cornerstone of the science community, is the proverbial double edged sword here in the screenwriter's universe. The trick I think is to disseminate and distill the good advice, from the bad. In cyberspace, everyone can hear you scream, and that's not always a good thing..
Welcome! I understand the hesitance about getting feedback. Just recently joined Coverflyx as well. Some great help, and some trolling, but both would be expected as everyone else has pointed out.
