How do we as writers approach producer that have shown interest enough to have read your work? I'm not asking for myself, who's kidding who, yes I'm speaking upon my own journey. Two of my scripts have made it to the next level of processing and I'm not sure how to approach with a follow-up. What do I say in a SNAIL MAIL inquiry? Can anyone share how to do it without shaming myself and the website hosting my scripts?

What were the events that lead to this? Did they say anything after or before they read it? Did they say they'd be in contact or?

I've never got the chance to send mine out yet. Seek out information on how to act in a meeting "Good In a Room" Stephanie Palmer is a good place. She tells how to act at a meeting with a producer and other services and advice. Good luck!
