I am at a point in early production where I have to start trying to get a great director attached (needed in order to get funding that depends on a high-caliber director). Can anyone tell me how a director expects to be properly and professionally solicited/courted? PLEASE & THANK YOU!!

Hey Donnalyn - we actually have an awesome webinar about this coming up this Friday. It's with the producer of an official Sundance Selection this year: https://www.stage32.com/webinars/Tips-on-Hiring-Your-Director-and-Castin...

Also go to IMDB pro for contact information to research directors in whom you are interested

IMDb contact could give you his agent representation, then you contact them and make proposal w Logline of your film/ project. Also production company if they have one, etc. and do the same
Find directors you want to work with and context their agent, is one option. IMDB PRO has their CONTACT information. Also networking with directors here on Stage 32 would be something I think RB would suggest as well....
