Happy New Year! (is it too late to say that?)

Reintroducing myself: I'm a cinematographer/camera operator with over twenty years experience shooting feature films, television series, documentaries and commercials. My recent credits include "American Horror Story", "Captain America: Civil War", the TV Series "Lethal Weapon" and the PBS special documentary, "John Lewis: Get In The Way". Another avenue I've been exploring the last few years is teaching. I took most of the last two years off to be a "Distinguished Artist In Residence" at Five Towns College in New York. I taught four levels of cinematography and helped develop the curriculum for a new cinematography concentration. I've also done some teaching at Wesleyan University and New York's School of Visual Arts. I really enjoyed sharing my experience and knowledge with young hungry minds and watching them develop their artistic "muscles". One unexpected benefit to teaching is that it reignited my excitement for cinematography. Sharing the work of the masters, both in cinematography and in painting/photography and exploring how we, as storytellers, can engage an audience visually, really got me thinking about why I got in this business in the first place. This really lit a fire in my belly which allowed me to explore some radical ideas for my latest film "Greatland", a dystopian future, dark comedy. I can't wait for it to be finished and to be able out share it with the Stage 32 community. Well I've rambled on long enough. I look forward to hearing from the community.
