Introduce Yourself : A London-based filmmaker with some websites for the production industry... by Tony Franks

Previously based in NY and now settled in London, I am a hobbyist filmmaker - I make films primarily for myself. I particularly enjoy the editing process. My very first film was a 16mm production that I shot and edited on the streets of NYC. Two aspects got me hooked; self-shooting and the physical editing of the film.

Currently, I'm building websites for the production and post-production community - The Camera Map lists UK hire and sales companies for pro cameras (www.thecameramap.com) - The Studio Map lists UK and NY film & TV studios (www.thestudiomap.com) - Screening Room Map lists screening rooms in NY, LA and London (www.screeningroommap.com/los-angeles/).

The sites are still growing and I hope they are useful to Stage32 members, and I welcome all feedback as I strive to improve them. And I welcome the opportunity to network with the production and post-production community! Tony
