Sundance memories

Just got back from my first Sundance film festival. Did anyone else go? It was absolutely insane!

Julianna Watson

Every year I keep meaning to plan and save to attend and I don’t. How was it this year?

Alessandro Machi

I don't mean to side track the discussion but your last name appears to be the same as the lead in "King of Queens". Do you get that a lot?

Mike Heff

It was unbelievable Julianna! I've never been in a scenario like this before, there were celebrities all around just hanging out. It was crazy that I finished my screenplay in time for the opportunity to attend. You should definitely go!

Mike Heff

I get it occasionally Alessandro. I actually go by Mike Heff in my writing because I think it sounds better. At least King of Queens taught people how to say it!

Mike Heff

I went to a lot of the panels as well as the award party so I got to meet a lot of people!

Mike Heff

Well my favorite film was "The Last Black Man in San Francisco" and my friends and I got to hang out with the director and cast. But people like Walton Goggins, Tessa Thompson, and Shia Labeouf were hanging out in lounges and in theaters watching screenings with us.

You can message me Pamela and I’ll tell you all my stories :)

Debbie Croysdale

Its on my 2020 agenda cos that’s when Im touring States. However I did meet whole Sundance team 2014 in London, cos they did a one off stint there. We all stayed in Langham Hilton cos sponsor friend got invites for whole weeks parties. They certainly rock! Apparently they had a copycat London 90s and Sundance put the phone down on them.

Doug Nelson

Debbie - I'll try to get over there next year.

Debbie Croysdale

@Doug Great if you there. Sundance festival on its own home turf (only met them London) is on my wish list and money in pot for travel.
