Hey guys!
My name is April Guscott, I'm a TV/screenwriter whose work spotlights young queer women of color as they try to navigate the exhaustive trials of adulting as millennials.
I hold an MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and I'm a member of the professional association for women in the New York entertainment industry, NYWIFT.
I'm a native New Yorker hailing from the Caribbean immigrant rich Brooklyn neighborhood of East Flatbush, and I'm currently working on a high concept whodunnit pilot loosely inspired by my online dating adventures.
Great to meet you fellow writers!

Glad to meet you too, April. Just last week, a director agreed to work with me on a LGBTQ-themed short film (Baby Boomer woman attracted to 20-something female student that takes a wrong turn on their first date). Happy, happy, happy. I'm a Tisch graduate too. Best wishes for your projects!

Oh a queer May-December bad first date, I love it! Much luck and success on your projects as well, thank you Valerie!
