Hello everyone. I'm currently self producing 3 episodes of a series which I will later package and pitch. My original plan was to post the episodes on Amazon through Prime Video Direct, but there's a good chance that we will have a few SAG actors and SAG doesn't allow deferred payment for projects that are on an SVOD platform, so I'm looking into other options.
Although YouTube has the biggest audience, their recent changes seem to make it difficult for new creators to have their work found. Vimeo has a much cleaner look and feels more professional to me, although I don't know much about how much traffic videos receive outside of direct links. Facebook is the best option for sharing, but it may prevent people not on Facebook from viewing it, and I heard they had some questionable language about ownership rights buried in the fine print.
I'm interested in the thoughts of the community. And do you recommend focusing on one platform or cross posting on multiple platforms?
