I am working on a sci-fi pilot series, sort of like a twilight zone/black mirror theme. When writing TV scripts such as these, do you write more than one episode and then pitch the series or just pitch one pilot episode?
Do you mean an anthology series? I would probably write one episode but have at least the loglines for your other episodes. This is what I'd do, I'll be interested to know what others think.
All you need to write is the pilot episode and a series bible. If an exec is not sold on your concept, the fact you've written more eps won't change their mind. If they do like it, they'll request your pilot and bible. If they love those then things will happen.
