Hello! I want to run a crowdfunding campaign to pay the expenses for my new short film (props, locations, traveling expenses...), it won't be a great quantity of money, I thought about 450 pounds. The thing is that I do not really know where to run the campaign, I started on Indiegogo and also read about Kickstarter but both of them charge fees, which I don't understand. There is also facebook's crowdfunding page, which I don't really know if it charges something.
Any advice? And which have been your experiences?

Most sites charge fees. It is a legitimate way to raise money. If the fees come out of the overall fund then you need to account for that when you set your funding goal. I've not used any so I can't say which is better. I would just try one of the large sites and see. Follow the instructions and share the fund to as many friends and family as you can. Make sure when you share it on Instagram, twitter, etc you Hashtag as many relevant key tags as possible and that all posts are open to public so the Hashtags get picked up by other users.
Karen Stark Thank you, Karen! I will try my best :)
Most sites charge fees because they do have costs associated with the processing of the money to get it back to you and also the costs of running their sites. Some sites you can actually have the site ask the person donating this money to cover the cost and since it would be a relatively small amount a lot of times the person donating it will cover that. The best thing to do is to factor this fee into the amount you are asking for and then you might even end up with a little extra money then you wanted. There are sites that are specifically for film like Seed and Spark that have a higher success rate because they will teach you how to run a crowdfunding campaign if you are new to it. Best of luck
