Introduce Yourself : Amateur Screenwriter by Mark Spurlock

I was in construction since high school. Also co-hosted a morning radio show for ten years in a small rural town. I was the station manager for six years. A listener called me one day and said I should write a screenplay about one of the music hours I had created, a character named Rock Spinner. He thought it would make a cool story about a small time radio station. I thought he was mad, but one day at work I came up with a screenplay. So that started me becoming an amateur screenwriter. I have since written a comedy western and am working on another.
