I see everyone from actors to screenwriters to filmmakers talking about their craft and theory here on Stage 32, but here is a story about an actor who did what I always say - Got proactive, wrote her own script and made, as Lloyd Kaufman would say, "her own damn film!" It also teaches us a lesson NOT to overlook the short subject as it can lead to other shorts and much feature work. I'm not an actor, but I have now worked with Nicole several times with three more on the way, and it all came about because of her short, Crybaby. Thanks so much for posting this. It’s great advice. I booked student shorts first and just recently got cast in my first feature. It’s a good way to go and I’m sure I’m on the right road. If I were in North New Jersey I would soooooo take your class!
Matt, if you were in North, New Jersey, we would soooooo LOVE to have you! ;) GOD BLESS and STAY FRESH! <3 ;)

That is exactly what I plan on doing, making my own film. Best way to get experience in the writing, filming and acting :)
