Very cool! THE EMPATH, and erotic noir crime-thriller, was just named FINALIST in the Filmmatic Short Screenplay competition. Not a bad start for its first screenplay competition. Refinements still in process, and looking forward to shooting this thing sometime this fall as proof of concept for a feature film or TV series.
Logline: After arresting a high-end dominatrix for the involuntary manslaughter of one of her wealthy clients, a downtrodden Hollywood detective enlists her empathic powers to find a powerful sex trafficker only to discover his true identity and an alternative reality.
