Introduce Yourself : What's up everyone. by Jay Reeves

My name's Jay Reeves. I recently moved to Bakersfield, CA. After living in the San Fernando Valley my whole life.

I just finished two screen plays. One is "Ballad Of Youth," about a group of friends growing up in the San Fernando Valley during the late 80's early 90's. Sort of Boyz in the Hood meets Dazed and Confused.

The other one is "Malo," about prostitutes being murdered in a Texas Border town. During Day of the Dead. It has kind of an X Files vibe. I submitted Malo to Indie Film Hustle's Bulletproof screen writing coverage, and got a consider grade. Which I thought was pretty cool for my first screen play.

I want to make Malo myself. For a very low budget. Hopefully starting soon. Probably looking for crew and cast on Stage 32.
