Hi. My name is Becky. I am from the U.K. I have a masters in screenwriting and I always used to make short films as a kid. For the nester part of my adult life I’ve been a teacher and tutor, but after a life changing injury last year that resulted in me now requiring a wheelchair, I decided that life is too short and we must follow our dreams.
I’m currently studying at film school. I am planning on making some short films to refine my craft with the intention of building to a feature in a couple of years.
In particular I’m looking to collaborate with a screenwriter. I know how to write but I just don’t enjoy the actual writing of a script quite as much as other aspects of filmmaking. I do have lots of ideas I’d love to develop though.
I’m interested in sci-fi, horror, thriller, fantastical, whimsical type stories. But with filming low budget in mind, the films need to be contained.
I’m looking to film a low budget feature with high production values. So we would need to write within the confines of locations we have access to.
