Introduce Yourself : Writer/DIrector passionate about supporting other creatives by Cali Gilbert

Hi Everyone,

I'm Cali from LA. Writer/Director of Social Impact Films. Founder & CEO of Tower 15 Productions. I'm also a bestselling author of nine books, my latest IT'S SIMPLY FILMMAKING which is a guide for the aspiring and emerging female filmmaker.

I'm passionate about supporting other creatives through education and collaboration in the areas of publishing, photography and filmmaking.

Currently have a short film out in the world entitled INVISIBLE which sheds light on the homeless crisis here in LA with a focus on prevention. Submitting to film festivals and building traction for my first feature length documentary entitled PEARL which celebrates the stories of six extraordinary women who overcame homelessness to find success in the Arts.

Also working on some scripts. Currently have a feature narrative in the hands of a Director and pitching to Lifetime/Hallmark. Nearing completion on a holiday script and storyboarding another narrative, so a few things in the pan.
