Hi everyone,
Just here to introduce myself, I recently joined Stage 32 community and excited about being here. I'm hoping to make new collaborations and read some inspiring stories.
I'm a Writer/Director/Producer just coming out of a 15 year hiatus, was in the industry and bowed out to focus on myself and family. This year made a conscious decision, that to be fulfilled with my life goals need to follow what I love, which is ART. I call myself the 'reluctant writer' in a good way :). Does anyone ever get this burning desire to put pen to paper and write, these insane stories in your head but keep using 'life' has an excuse not to fulfil them?
As part of my comeback made a short film, it's a short film dark drama which would be screening around the film festivals circuit in the US and Europe.
I do have a few scripts in the pipeline that I want to get off the ground, one is a powerful biopic feature film. So open to discussions with any Exec Producers on here.

To answer your question, yes... I just also recently came out of a 3 year hiatus which was caused by studying screenwriting. I wrote before I took the course and was a competent writer, the course was an opportunity to improve my writing. But for some reason I just didn't want to write after studying. But now I'm back and grateful for my studies and loving it.
