This is my first post. I have written a children's picture book and still working on the illustrations before submitting it to an agent. IMHO the best film noir ever made is Out of the Past with Robert Mitchum - the direction and casting is perfection. However, you can't beat the queen of noir: Stanwyck in Double Indemnity and the final scene with Edgar G. lighting the cigarette for his shot up buddy.
