I am a writer living in Toronto. My CV in the business is short, so I’ll tell you about my working background. I’ve been a marketing executive for over 25 years in Canada and the U.S. representing major firms in the real estate, design and construction industries. My planning and writing skills have been tested and fine tuned by tight deadlines and demanding clients in the pursuit of branding, marketing and promotional excellence. I've also had the pleasure of ghost writing well over a hundred executive speeches for clients.
My ambitions have now expanded to include a personal reinvention in the area of writing for film and T.V. I also just finished writing and launching management/leadership book on Amazon entitled...The Age of the Enlightened Executive: a primer for the modern leader.
I like to write about the human condition. Stories about real people and the struggles and sometimes joy they experience as they go about their lives. I love to pull back the curtain for a peek at what people try so hard to hide from the world. It always makes for a good story. Would love to connect with fellow writers.
Remember, every great writer was once an undiscovered writer.
Forgot this.
Hey David, I'm a fellow Canadian, out west though in Calgary. Nice to meet you.

Great to connect Tawny. Love Calgary.
You're a talented fellow. Wish you luck in your endeavors.
Mash-up your book with your desire to write about the human condition into a great screenplay. Then go to your satisfied clients and seek some funding - this will attract producers/directors/actors.
Great advice. Encouraging words appreciated.
Welcome aboard David and thank you for connecting. You are a very inspiring and talented gentleman. Wishing you much success in the coming years!
