Acting : Audition Trains by Jonathan Monet

Audition Trains

I am getting ready for a few weeks of auditions. I like the pressure, but I always have the fear of reciting sides from a different project.

Another thing I fear is getting stuck with reading for multiple parts when there is one or two I would really enjoy. I have found casting D's to be quite serious when they say, "plan to stay until dismissed". Which, when translated to actor speech means, "stay until we decide that we don't want you or stay until we have decided which role we want you to play regardless of your own intentions"

Next week I have four auditions.

I will spend this weekend preparing to chameleon without winding up in the psych ward.
