Good afternoon Stage 32 community! I cant believe I have been a member for so many years but have been so busy with work and life that I have not had the opportunity to really engage and immerse myself. So I am really here today to say hello and to also learn about your needs as artists and creators. As an entertainment attorney I know that navigating the rough waters of this business can be challenging. So if I am happy to be a resource for this community.

Nina, it's so great to meet you! Glad you finally stepped out and introduced yourself. Creatives need an attorney like you to be able to help with the business side. Not sure if you saw our COVID19 State of the Industry panel we did, but think you might enjoy: https://www.stage32.com/webinars/Stage-32-Presents-COVID-19-A-Conversati...

Hi Nina, Welcome. You are the right person I've been looking for to answer this question. I took a Stage 32 webinar on writing query letters and it was mentioned that we cannot send any script to a producer, director, or actor without representation of an agent or manager, but we could have an entertainment lawyer submit our script for us. How does that work for screenwriters who don't have agents or managers? What steps do we take?

P.S> Also, if we submit our scripts to the Library of Congress to copyright, but after that we get feedback from an exec or similar interested in it to change something to make it better, do we have to re-copyright it through LOC each time? How does that work?
