Hey all! I'm just now easing my way into this platform--looking to meet as many quality people in this industry as I can. I'm looking to learn & grow & network & all that jazz...
Hey, Ashton! Nice to meet you! I feel like there's a lot of good information on your bio, but I don't entirely understand it without specifics. Tell me about yourself!
Are you a Portland native? Ooo, Portland! Would you be interested in participating in the "Paris, Je T'aime" challenge I posted in the Filmmakers Lounge? It's just a fun way to get to know people through their city:
Thanks for the bio feedback & the suggestions, Karen. It's nice to be acquainted with you as well. Well, I am originally from the Bay Area, but moved up here from Los Angeles two years ago. It's a different animal for sure. There was a lot I didn't like about LA, but there's a lot I do miss. How long have you been in LA yourself?
Just 9 months in LA - I'm loving it! Although, I confess, I am still an East Coast mind with a ever-growing West Coast heart :-D Any suggestions for places to see or things to do in LA?
Actually, the Pacific Northwest is the only other region of the US I have NOT visited, other than the Dakotas and Maine. My screenwriting professor is up there now, actually, so maybe I'll have to take a trip! I hear the coffee is hard to beat :-D

Other than the Filmmakers Lounge, I would highly recommend the Writer's Room for your learning and growing: https://www.stage32.com/writersroom
There's so much here, so really, enjoy exploring! And share any good finds!
