is this a place where I could post some scripts I've been working on, and then have you all critique it? Or is that under "YOUR STAGE"? I feel that your stage is for advertising purposes.
Yup, loglines and scripts may be posted on your profile page. Any Lounge post of your own work, perhaps asking for specific feedback on a logline, script, reel, film trailer, fundraising campaign, sharing of a personal blog or website or written articles, and/or any self-promotion or project promotion, etc, goes in Your Stage. See the description at the top of each Lounge section for guidance. The craft and business forums are for topic discussion. Best to you!
Hey, EJ! Thanks for asking! I would suggest after posting your loglines on your profile, browse other loglines on the site and give them feedback: https://www.stage32.com/loglines
After your thoughtful comments, you could request that they give you feedback on your loglines. Then, those people who respond in kind can become your inner-network of people to message and ask if they'd like to do a script exchange, where you read and give them notes and vice versa. Trust me, there are LOTS of willing participants here! Sometimes you just have to show them a little love before they'll give back ;-)
I have a lot of members in my networking group. I would have to ask how to contact them all to see if any are interested. Thanks for letting me know. Sharon
OK. I did a brief stint as a "reader" for my creative executive friend, so I think I may have a template somewhere. Or I can post a critique and we can see if that style or format works. I'll ask Diana and Karen, plus EJ, so can you please ask one more male? Cheers.
I see a lot of people on Twitter recently who'r offering to read if it's reciprocated. Mostly Pre-WGA writers who know each other and know that writers are getting ready to enter scripts into contests and whatnot. You can try finding a reader on Twitter. Most of the Pre-WGA writers there are pretty friendly and happy to help out.
Shara- Thanks for heads up, but refuse to have Twitter until Chump fades into obscurity... Would you be interested in joining a "readers circle" here on Stage 32?

Thank you, Christopher Phillips for chiming in! Love how helpful you are!
Has anyone ever formed a "reader's circle"? Where 3 or 4 of you read and critique each other's scripts? No kid gloves?
Think that would be great. Let's start one. We'll share scripts, read each other's and be brutally honest!
Sharon C- I know no one on here- do you have 2 or 3 contacts in mind?
Cheers.

If you can find Diana Saenz on this network-- reach out to her.
Also check Karen E Ross and send a network request.

Sounds good to me.
Do you know how to form a "group" chat on Stage? I have about 3 other people to add... Cheers.
Karen Ross- Can you please reach out to me?
