Stay Creative

Just starting a discussion here; I would love to know how everyone is managing to stay creative during these times and what everyone has been working on. I was in the pre-production for a short film, which had to be postponed and with this extra time, I've been honing my editing by creating short visuals using stock footage.

Feel free to share/link any films you're watching, what you're reading, if you have any previous works you'd like to post, would love to see it.

Hey Na'im, that's great -- I always believe that you can never do too much pre-production. The more you work on your film's look and moodboard, the stronger your visioin when you do get to go into production.

For myself, I've been recording/engineering my audiobook for my novel CYBER FIGHTER as well as doing extensive pre-production for the short film version too. My wife and I also have a YouTube web series and we just put out another episode, so we are managing to keep creatively busy too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fO6TSyy0Ebw

@Na'im Lovely work "Free The Bird" and Love the Sepia effect, it adds another dimension, kinda Neo Noir feel. @William I second Na'im's comment "That Darn Girlfriend Nice Work." I just watched above link and the loo roll episode really had me in stitches, perfect juxtaposition of Retro Era with today's Covid mania. Been a fan of series since first saw it. I collect a lot of real Retro stuff eg Barbies, Babycham glasses, loopy psychedelic vases etc so if you're ever filming over the pond, plenty of props to borrow. @ALL Re question on what doing during lockdown? My Spanish additional shoots, as inclusion to a series of Hispanic pulps was cancelled and it's looking like autumn London shorts won't take place and Ireland also cancelled ….. So I'm just simply just keeping on writing. One thing I'm doing though that I've never done before is building my own website. I was always shy of social media before I met RB and Stage 32 members London 2014 but glad I decided to come on line here. So now is a good time to learn website building. STAY SAFE ALL!
