Screenwriting : Looking for an agent by Francesco Volpi

Looking for an agent

Hello lovely people!

I hope you are well. The virus is finally loosening a bit in Italy, but the worry of a backlash is in the air.

I am an amateur screenwriter who has written a few scripts, and I would like to start looking for an agent in the US, UK, CA. Can you recommend me any websites where I can find a list of talents agencies, or if you can suggest me specific agencies for writers who are not in the business yet :)

I would also like to ask you your impression in regards to Inkpit and The Blacklist.

Thanks in advance and #staysafe :)

On IMDB pro, you can find any agencies, managers and so on. Look for the ones with track records and who fit your projects. Make sure first your scripts are rock solid, Inktip is a good option.

Thank you Louis!

Go to Stage 32 Script services tabs and look at the dozens of execs who are looking for talent, and find one that matches what your script is about and sign up for either a verbal pitch to them, or a more detailed service like script consultation, or exec mentor so they can point you in the right direction. Read their resumes and bios and look at the works they are involved with in the IMDB pro. Also, take a webinar on pitching, and do the pitch practice to hone how you communicate your script to others. This would be a good start.

Hey Ricki, you advice is fantastic, a lot to learn! Thank you so much!
