Basically, I don't accept network requests from from anyone located more than about 100 miles from me. I try to actually work with the folk in my network.

The biggest thing for me is that their profile has content on it (well written bio, credits, website/social media links, pictures of them, etc.). I need to see that they made an effort in creating their profiles, a lot of network requests that I get have nothing.
