Hey team, I own and operate the Canon C200. I love it. However, one of my corporate clients just purchased a Canon XC10 that they want be used in a livestream I'm co-producing (and shooting) with them. Have any of you shot with this pro-sumer XC10? Namely, are there any "Gotchas!" that you've experienced with it?
Hey, Brandon Plantz! Let it be known - I ain't too proud to rely on B&H's reviews for an opinion LOL! I've never worked with the XC10, but I have trained on the C100, and so far, I concur with everything B&H's review says. It seems like a great fun-n-gun, which was always the appeal of prosumer cameras, especially for documentarians. They also make a good point about YouTube videos. Are you looking for a B-cam? I'm not sure I would relinquish the control and use this as your primary cam, but it could match very well with the camera you've got. Do you do mostly indoor/studio shoots or film outside with B-roll?
