Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a freelance composer based out in LA and I'm looking to build relationships with composers, and filmmakers, and screenwriters in the area or abroad. I haven't been on here in awhile, but thought I would check back and see how everyone's doing. Hopefully ok :)

Hey, Steven Buckner! Glad to meet you! I was looking over your profile, but you don't have much there. Tell me about yourself! Who are your favorite composers? Any favorite films?
I TOTALLY agree with your bio, " I believe that both music and film go hand and hand together to make the most memorable scene possible." When I first moved to LA, I saw an opportunity to see John Williams conduct live with the LA Phil at the Hollywood Bowl, and I HAD to go - truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Although, seeing Hans Zimmerman live was pretty phenomenal as well.

Hi Karen, glad to meet you too. I have been a member on this page for sometime and probably do need to update it. I'm originally from Michigan but live in Los Angeles. Most of the projects I do is freelance or self produced projects such as my album that I'm working on currently. As far as my favorite film composers, I would have to say John Williams. I like Hans too! As far as movies are concerned, my favorites are Superman The Movie, Avengers Endgame, Batman Returns, and Cat People of all things! Thank you for the suggestion to visit the directing lounge. I will check that out too!
