Greetings !
I am a filmmaker from Ireland and am currently writing a thriller narrative about mental health with female protagonist.
The following is my first doc feature, a 77 minute documentary film to honour Gordon Lord Byron, Irish racehorse. https://vimeo.com/185247752 .
My second documentary feature screened in 30 cinemas, as on https://nicfilm.com/pages/news

Hey, Nicholas Ryan-Purcell! Congrats on the doc! What was this inspiration for going narrative? I would love for you to do more posts in the Filmmaking Lounge about your experience making docs, filmmaking in Ireland, and going from doc to narrative storytelling: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing
Ooo, Ireland?! Would you be interested in participating in the "Paris, Je T'aime" challenge I posted in the Filmmakers Lounge? It's just a fun way to get to know people through their city:

Thanks Karen "Kay" Ross - The inspiration for going narrative from documentary came from my documentary cinema screenings last year. I developed more of an enthusiasm for fiction when I went to watch more movies in the cinema. Also, seeing my quad poster amongst major movie posters in the fayre areas of cinemas. I will certainly post more in the filmmaking lounge. Thank you

Nicholas - this is so impressive! I can see an Irish "Secretariat" feature film here. I loved it! Good luck!
