Introduce Yourself : Director by Lia Beltrami

Lia Beltrami

Director

I made my first documentary 29 years ago. I try to adapt myself to contemporary world, it is a great challenge. Since 2 years I'm working on a documentary on skin color, colorism, racism, called COMPLEXion. It is on its last stage of mix down. Due to the fact the world changed in last 3 months, where do you suggest to try to present it for its premiere?

Hey, Lia Beltrami! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage32. Nice to meet you! WOW, that's an incredible amount of documentaries! Is there a common theme for you between the projects you choose or is it a different inspiration every time?

I would love for you to jump in the Filmmaking Lounge and a start conversation (or five) pertaining to your experience. Honestly, there are many Americans who do not know you can make a living doing documentary filmmaking: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing

Ooo, Roma, Italy?! Would you be interested in participating in the "Paris, Je T'aime" challenge I posted in the Filmmakers Lounge? It's just a fun way to get to know people through their city:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to meet and mingle!
