I am in the process of assembling and composing a tribute album for greats of french musique concrete and GRM composers such as Pierre Henry, Bernard Parmegiani or Francois Bayle - this is an excerpt from one of the compostiions dedicated to Pierre Henry: https://noewacreativemusic.bandcamp.com/track/the-laughter-to-pierre. I would appreciate your kind feedback and advice.
Thank you very much.
You asked for feedback so here it goes.... I listened to the piece and want to say at the outset that every creative track is a legitimate form of expression. With that said, I wonder if those in this forum who don't have the same background as you can truly understand and appreciate it. I have many friends locally who spend significant time writing compositions to accompany poetic readings and art exhibitions. This sounds much like that type of music. But for me personally it sounded merely as a collection of sound effects.
Joel Irwin many thanks for listening the piece and I appreciate your honest feedback...I am in music production for over a year now, so pretty much a beginner, and everything I make is part of the learning path. I am rather assembling the musical pieces than composing them, in the usual sense - no written document, the score, exists, except my high level notes, ideas - however I started learning "verbal notation"...Could you please share works of your friends who write music for poetic readings or art exhibitions - photographer friend asked me if I could come up with a music/sonic textures for her Fall exhibition. Many thanks in advance. Take care.

Hi Levente, thanks for sharing this. It's not common to hear musique concrete in this kind of forum! I studied with Jonty Harrison and Scott Wilson on the BEAST system, so feel equipped to offer some feedback.
I like the textures a lot and the general aesthetic. Some of the elements didn't feel as if they gelled and fitted together, such as the more percussive elements with the textures you already had (they probably could fit together, if the percussion was processed and manipulated differently). The voice added another layer but I would consider ways to manipulate it further and to experiment with fragmentation.
Hope that helps!
Joanna Karselis Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated. Yes, indeed, while assembling the track I had few options both for percussions and voice...Actually, what you have heard is the 1st iteration of the composition which'll be much longer when finished...So, many thanks for feedback, very helpful!
