Screenwriting : Writer's and Producer's group by Peter Davidson

Peter Davidson

Writer's and Producer's group

Hi, I'm a writer and producer formerly in LA but now based in St. Louis.  I am presently developing a slate of projects to find local financing and to shoot in St. Louis using mostly St. Louis assets.  I also lead a writer's and producer's group online to help work on scripts.

I am looking for writers who are interested in developing screenplays in an economically viable genre that can be shot on a low budget ($200K or so)  in St. Louis using mostly St. Louis assets.  You don't have to be based in St. Louis to participate, and you don't have to be writing just for my slate.

The groups would meet once every three weeks over Zoom.

Please let me know if you have any interest in participating.  You can contact me here or directly by email at peter@davidsonllc.us.  Mention you saw my post on Stage32. Note: please do not send me any unsolicited scripts. I am looking for people to be a part of the group. I do not accept unsolicited scripts.

You want to start out with shorts and work your way up to features when you finally put together a compatible working crew - or do you want to just jump right in to features?

Andre Farquharson

Hello Peter,

Nice to hear from you that you are really looking to produce features and projects. I am a young and aspiring writer, filmmaker and entertainer based in London, UK and I am slowly but surely working my way up in the industry.

I am happy to extend my circle and collaborate with producers on original screenplays. I am also interested in collaborating with producers on potential adaptations of works, as I really believe I could adapt high-concept literature and other media into really good features and TV shows.

There are a couple of adaptations I have in mind that has been turnaround for some time, but I am willing to shoot you an email and work from there.

Have a good day,

Andre.
