Hello fellow creatives! An early wish for a happy Fourth. Question. Does anybody know a goo source for getting a Hallmark TV movie script? I'm having a heck of a time and I have a connection that I want to pursue. If you can provide direction, that would be great.
Thanks!
Tony
Thanks, Damian. Yes, that may be the way I have to go. It seems I can only find transcriptions of those movies, and what I wanted was a good way to get my eyes to the multi-act structure. Thanks for the suggestion.

Name a few Hallmark style scripts, maybe I have some.
Niksa, THANKS for asking. Well, I'm hoping to get a Christmas script, but for the act breaks, anything works.

Here’s a “how to” screenplay structure chart.
I remember a writer with a Hallmark track record saying Hallmark doesn’t buy spec screenplays/concepts. They develop ideas in-house with writers they hire. However, a few prod companies sell completed “Hallmark” movies to their channel. The Cartel, a prod-management company based in LA, are specialists at making Xmas/Hallmark-like movies; maybe a manager there will read your spec.
Thanks so much for that, Dan. It sure helps.

Here's Stan Spry's interview on how they make Hallmark movies. He's a co-owner/founder at Cartel.

Dan and CJ... thanks so much. You guys are great; this helps greatly.
CJ Walley I'm guessing Cartel charges 15-20% of budget as their company fee, plus whatever individual producing fees
