Audition, by Michael Shurtleff, used to be a staple amongst acting classes. I don’t agree with everything in it, but it’s still got some good nuggets.
Michael Caine’s Acting in Film is helpful for on-camera technique (or just look up the VERY OLD BBC video on YouTube which covers a lot of the stuff from his book).
Off-Camera with Sam Jones is a great podcast for learning about celebrity actors and their histories, processes, etc. It won’t necessarily teach you to act better, but it will give you peace of mind listening to those who have “made it” share their stories.
