Hi Everybody! I actually joined Stage 32 last year and never actually gave it my best shot. So, here I am taking another stab at it. Instead of boring you all about my story and what I do, I'll just leave you with 5 fun facts about myself.
1. I'm a Writer/Director and I've also been a Marriage and Family Therapist for the last 7 years!
2. I change my hair almost weekly, which makes for a lot of fun because people often think I look like new people each time.
3. I'm an only child which made for a fun childhood but a challenging adulthood lol.
4. I just moved to LA three years ago from New Jersey ( and no I don't know anyone from Jersey Shore lol).
5. Due to Quarantine I learned that I love to bake and watch natural hair videos, hopefully I can bring these skills on set!

Hey, Shanay Russell! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage32. Nice to meet you! Ooo, I love playing "getting to know you" games!
1) I was a Massage Therapist for 14 years, it's what paid my way through film school. It gives you a unique insight into people, doesn't it?
2) That sounds SO COOL! I think my hair is the one thing I don't change easily - it used to be down past my waist!
3) I'm also an only child, but I had a challenging childhood and a fun adulthood (16-30) - weird!
4) I just moved to LA a year ago from DC! What's your favorite part of LA so far? I may have already seen John Williams conduct at the Hollywood Bowl, so that's checked off the bucket list LOL!
5) I'm quite fond of baking myself (I've already plowed through Nailed It!, The Great British Baking Show, COOKED, and Chef's Table), although we're trying to limit our baked goods while in lockdown. However, gluten-free chocolate chip cookies with Heath pieces is pretty spectacular.

Hi Karen! Great to meet you! Massage Therapist? Thats soooo much fun! I've been in LA for about three years and I still haven't really done much. Hopefully, once Quarantine is over I will spend more time outside lol And I made that shirt almost 5 years ago when I was making clothing for a blog I created. I wish I had made more and continued it but it's been long retired lol
