Hey, everyone! I'm a genderqueer multi-disciplinary creative and performing artist usually based in the L.A. area (currently quarantining in Milwaukee, WI), and I'm big on collaboration. I'd love to meet other Stage 32 folks who share my passions for musical theater/movies, animation, queer narratives, and mental health. For samples of my work and countless pictures of my face, check out https://sockswhitmore.com.

Hey, Socks Whitmore! I know we've met before, but in case I didn't say so the first time - WELCOME! I, too, enjoy bringing unique voices to the screen. I particularly love how television has used its ability to fall in love with characters to introduce new thoughts. I could go on about how the CW has been a part of that, but I'll simply say that when I was teaching high school, my students loved the Arrowverse and it made every topic accessible.
Oh, have you seen She-Ra and the Princesses of Power? Another great opportunity to explore queer stories! What are you working on now? I'd love for you to start a post in the Filmmaking Lounge about knowing your messaging when creating: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing

Karen "Kay" Ross, YES, I have seen all of the new She-Ra! Along with Steven Universe, that show made my queer little heart very happy. ^_^ My current projects are a one act queer musical in development, VO work from home including the titular role of a fiction podcast I'm co-producing, "Georgie Romero Is Done For," and seeking out new collaborators for short-form projects—most recently, I wrote a short horror story on commission for an anthology podcast, and I've guest-starred on a number of other podcasts and vlogs.
