I've been already told that "no one will want to see it" but that's what they said about "Lincoln Vampire Slayer". I've written it anyway, and it's also a Baseball Movie with vampires like Ty Cobb, Ben Chapman, and Kenesaw Mountain Landis some of those hated ballplayers, and they set out to destroy baseball. Who wouldn't want to see how they do it, and if they're successful? Nobody? I'd see it. Anyway, I'd love to hear some ideas about where to take it. Glad to be here.
I think it's an interesting idea. But personally, I'd use fictional characters as the main protagonists with the real players (Ty Cobb, Ben Chapman, etc.) in the background. Mostly to avoid potential defamation suits (these days, you never know who would try that) but also for a practical reason: why would Ty Cobb, who had one of the highest batting averages in MLB history, want to destroy baseball? Just a thought though.
Personally, I can honestly say this could be a fresh take on the vampire genre and it's worth taking a run at. Play around with the story a little bit and see what you come up with. Who knows, it could be great. Best of luck!!!
