Project Details
II. Program Breakdown The program will run for the duration of production, however students will only be required to participate for a total of 6 hours on shoots to allow for maintaining their academic requirements.
Production Assistant 30 hours This person will have one of the most important roles on each production as they will be tasked with the charge of assisting in several aspects to the production such as continuity, wardrobe, props and the creation foley audio.
Assistant Camera 30 hours 1st and 2nd AC will assist the director of photography with everything from setting up equipment to focus pulling.
Sound 30 hours Performing the duties of a boom operator and assisting the Sound Mixer in capturing all audio for the production Lights 30 hours Though students will get hands on experience with setting up and controlling lights and filters, they will not be required to handle any electrical wiring.
Art Director As an Art Director at Element, you’ll take the lead in conception, design, and execution of visual materials for integrated, marketing strategies and campaigns
Assistant editor 40 hours The assistant editor will work side by side with the film’s editor with color grading, visual effects and sound editing.
TOTAL (unit-hours) 160 hours
Talent will have to complete an initial 30 hours as a Production Assistant prior to working on any other area of the production. This will allow the student to get acquainted with other cast and crew members.
III. Program Seasons Productions are forming now for the Spring 2021. Students are encouraged to speak with their academic advisors and begin thinking about submitting their best work for consideration.
