This summer, I’m laying down the gauntlet. The challenge is to stop shooting short films and get to your feature film. Maybe it’s your first feature. Maybe, like me, it’s your 4th. No matter which number it is, we’re going to set aside convention and create something spectacular... on mobile! You with me? Good!

I've shot plenty of things on iPhones / iPads ... interviews, shorts, and sometimes just footage for After Effects. Nothing wrong with shooting on mobile devices. Break a leg!
Great! This will be my 2nd mobile feature. I’m very excited about this medium because the technology isn’t going to get worse from here, so the sky’s the limit as far as I can tell. My other features were shot on “emerging tech” as well. I guess this is my thing.

Good for you! It's so important to continue to move forward.
Courtney, what app are you using for your movies? FilmicPro or ?? Also, here's a site that is wonderful and chocked full of info for mobile filmmakers - click on "Blog" and there's articles addressing apps, audio, etc: https://momofilmfest.com/

Lindbergh E Hollingsworth I’m using Filmic Pro for capture and LumaFusion for editing. Full disclaimer: I am a brand ambassador for both. But, I was using both before I became a beta tester for them. I really like the software, but I like the people who run each company and their employees even more. Good people.
If it's a challenge, I can try to write the soundtrack on my iPhone hah
Awesome, Courtney G. Jones! Are you looking for any collaborators? We have more than a few members hosting virtual table reads before they start filming. I'll have to try LumaFusion, thanks for the recommendation! Love that energy! I, too, use FilmicPro Lindbergh E Hollingsworth!
Hey Karen "Kay" Ross ! I'm always looking for collaborators. I'm especially looking for female filmmakers who who have used or are shooting/editing on mobile.
